Hey guys, I haven’t forgotten the blog – I’ve just been in the throes of writer’s block. I’ve started drafts for posts and then not liked them, and I don’t feel like there’s anything “big” going on in the Christian dating advice arena right now that is screaming for commentary. Plus, my thoughts lately have been kind of existential and not really within the purview of this blog. Also, I got a Kindle last month and have been doing more reading.
If anyone has any ideas for posts, let me know in the comments!
This is the first time in a long time I’ve seen the word ‘throes’ spelled correctly on a blog.
It’s not that it really bothers me how often writers misuse and misspell words, it is that is like listening to a piece of music played ever-so-slightly out of tune. The talent is still obvious, but the distraction of mis-tuned strings breaks the spell.

Well, you could tell us about this. I keep considering getting an e-reader but I just can’t get over the downsides so far.
Connect your existential thoughts with Christian dating. They’ve got to be related somehow.
O, Haley, we would listen to your existential thoughts!
Could you give us in the monsphere help to understand how to avoid leading a fellow sister (girlfriend / friend ) into ’emotional lust’? Just to clarify, women’s pornography is literature mostly geared around fanciful emotions while men use visual media. So, just as women need to be explained dressing properly, how would explain to young men to interact properly? (Two categories: 1. Christian guy trying to be nice and show affection and appreciation without showing romantic interest. 2. Christian guy in a pre-marriage relationship trying to protect his girlfriend.)
Can you help a brotha out?
